Welcome to The Heather House Flowers. By accessing our website, placing an order, or using any of our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. General Use of This Website

This website and its contents are owned by The Heather House Flowers. All images, text, branding, and product descriptions are protected by copyright and may not be copied, altered, or reproduced without written permission.

We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the website indicates acceptance of any changes.

2. Product Availability & Substitutions

All floral products are subject to seasonal and market availability.
Because we work with fresh, natural materials, substitutions may occur when specific flowers, colours, or containers are unavailable.

Substitutions are made thoughtfully using items of equal or greater value, while maintaining the overall style, size, and essence of the design.

3. Product Images & Descriptions

Images on this website are used as style guides and may not represent the exact flowers used in your arrangement.

Flower colours, varieties, and vessel styles may vary depending on seasonality, availability, and design interpretation.

All product dimensions are approximate.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD).
Prices may change without notice due to market fluctuations, seasonal availability, or cost of materials.

We accept online payments through the secure checkout options provided on our website. Full payment is required at the time of ordering.

5. Delivery Policy

We offer local delivery within Cochrane and surrounding areas.

Delivery availability may be affected by:

• Weather or road conditions

• High-volume holidays

• Incorrect or incomplete delivery information

• Recipient availability

If the recipient is not available at the time of delivery, we may leave the arrangement in a safe location or arrange re-delivery for an additional fee.

Same-day delivery may be available for Florist’s Choice orders placed before 1:00 PM.

We do not ship fresh flowers via postal or courier services outside our delivery area.

6. Customer Responsibilities

By placing an order, the customer is responsible for:

• Providing correct delivery information

• Ensuring the recipient can receive the order

• Inspecting the product upon receipt

• Following provided care instructions

We are not liable for issues resulting from incorrect details, lack of access, or missed deliveries.

7. Cancellations & Changes

Orders may be cancelled or modified with at least 24 hours’ notice before the scheduled delivery date.

Once flowers have been purchased or the design process has begun, cancellations may not be possible or may incur a fee to cover costs.

Holiday orders, custom designs, wedding florals, and event bookings may have stricter cancellation policies.

8. Refunds & Quality Concerns

We take great pride in the quality of our florals.
If you have concerns about your arrangement, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with a photo and description of the issue.

Refunds or replacements are provided at the discretion of The Heather House Flowers.
We do not offer refunds for:

• Customer error (wrong address, wrong date, etc.)

• Normal flower variations

• Damage after delivery

• Lack of water or improper care

 

9. Event & Wedding Florals

All event and wedding florals require a signed agreement and non-refundable retainer to secure the date.

Design details, substitutions, cancellation terms, and payment schedules are outlined in the event contract and supersede the general policies on this page.

 

10. Gift Cards

Gift cards are final sale and non-refundable.
They may be used toward any product or service offered by The Heather House Flowers.

Gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash unless required by local law.

11. Limitation of Liability

The Heather House Flowers is not liable for:

• Damages or losses caused by misuse of the website

• Allergic reactions to flowers or foliage

• Access issues preventing delivery

• Weather, traffic delays, or unforeseen circumstances

• Minor colour, size, or material variations in florals

Use of this website and our services is at your own risk.
